Help us bring cricket to the community, through five school taster sessions leading up to a cricket festival at Waterfront Leisure Centre

With your support we can change the face of cricket, from something often viewed as highbrow and only played by the professionals, into a community game, enjoyed on a similar scale to football. By doing this we hope to get the community fitter, and also have them engaging more with each other, despite being of different neighbourshoods, religions, ages, and ethnicities.
We also want to offer an opportunity to those who wish to develop skills around sport that are not just playing the game, but also skills such as umpiring, team management, or league organisation.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
First and foremost, it's an excellent sport not only for keeping fit, but also for teaching important lessons in teamwork, collaboration, and perserverence.
As a young cricket professional I am very familiar with the cricket system, and have witnessed first hand that there is little diversity in the support, especially in terms of age very few young people are engaging with it. I want to help inspire the next generation of London cricketers by providing them the opportunity to try the sport out, and find a regular cricket club if they'd like to continue learning.
