This May, nine restaurants across London will each create a special dish inspired by mental health to raise awareness and feed the conversation on a challenging subject in the best way… over epic food! For consumers taking part, they’ll get a golf ‘scorecard’ in participating restaurants that will be their menu unlike any other, leading them to each restaurant (or ‘Hole’), along with the dish inspiration and tips on mental health, incl. charities to contact. The nine restaurants that play to participate, will be offered mental health training and support through sponsorship and donations. All money from the dishes go back into the business to support staff during a difficult time for hospitality with the virus, and keep these restaurants open. We’re celebrating the diversity of this great city; the food, people and inclusive conversation on mental health to break the ‘crazy’ stigma in a creative and positive way that will get people sharing and support people & businesses.

What we'll deliver:

  • All 9 restaurants will receive accredited mental health training
  • We will create content, incl. art and video that will raise awareness of mental health across London
  • We will support businesses with a way of thinking and acting ethically that will help them grow & survive ethically.
  • We will be delivering a fun & creative event across London, celebrating diversity & raising awareness of mental health
  • Pre, during & post comms will inspire other businesses & people to be more ethical
  • This will be the 1st event of a nationwide campaign to promote ethical practice across hospitality & other industries

Why it's a great idea:

We will support growing businesses with ethical thinking and training in mental health, whilst breaking the stigma of mental health with paying consumers that will keep these businesses alive. We will also be educating and encouraging other businesses across industries to follow the same ethical thinking that will help to shift both cultural and commercial ethical practice.

Steps to get it done:

  • Accredited mental health training for 9 restaurants.
  • Content and collateral to deliver a pre, during & post amplification across the city and nationwide media channels

If successful, this event will not just be a one off in London, but across other cities too, with support for a multitude of businesses that will #FeedTheConversation on ethical thinking as part of an ongoing campaign... where we talk about what we care about over food, drink, art, CULTURE! Powerful impactful good.
