Cornwall House is a supported housing scheme for those with enduring mental illness within Chester. We have an amazing outside space that has sadly been neglected.

We have an amazing space that has sadly been neglected for some time. It had become apparent during lockdown that our residents could have made use of an outdoor space to relax in. We would love the chance to be able to clear the space, upcycle our current wooden furniture, add plants, flowers and vegetables. We also hope to add a water feature, art pieces and much more. Our residents will be the lead on this and will learn how to garden, take care of plants, grow their own food, upcycle furniture. We also plan to hold support sessions out in the garden once finished

Why it's a great idea:
This project will be hugely beneficial to our residents. Not only will they learn new skills such as gardening, growing their own food, painting, upcycling, art etc but they will also grow in confidence. When the project is completed our residents will have a beautiful space to use for therapeutic activities

Cornall House is a supported living scheme that houses 8 residents. We have 8 self contained flats and 1 respite flat.
