It is all about enjoyment of participation, which is open for boys and girls from age of 6 to age of 12 which will be split in different age group divisions. It is great opportunity to gather Lewisham residents for this great event.

What we'll deliver:

• Fundraising challenges to raise funds for sport development.
• Main organization and running of the event, providing pitches, referees, challenges.
• Provide prices like medals, cups, trophies for participants, as well as coaches managers and volunteers.

Why it's a great idea:

It is great idea because it will gather the community and raise interest for local residents to participate in sports. By promoting different sport activities the main objective is also to get people that are not involved in sports, to possibly join clubs and teams. Lewisham residents will benefit from it and we want to promote other sport activities and open new doors and opportunities to adults and children.

Steps to get it done:

• Promote the event within Lewisham community groups, clubs and schools.
• Provide trophies for end of festival awards, refreshments, snacks, ect.
• Provide football pitches, markings, goals, referees, ect.

Very important is to invite a lot of different community groups who are willing to form a team, and try to get kids that are usually not involved in sports, into teams, open new opportunities, invite them for trials at different sport projects across borough, give them and the parents leaflets about many sport activities, possibly educational leaflets about secondary education, leaflets for volunteers, and young people who want to get involved in coaching.
