Seeing the rate of computer illiteracy in my community, I look to train 500 persons in computer skills, and make computer set donations to two schools.

In 2019 – “amidst the Covid 19 pandemic”, I discovered the gold in ICT literacy. With basic computer skills, I went further to obtain a course in Content Writing and since began earning in dollar currencies shortly after its completion. In the conviction that ICT literacy is a sure means to poverty alleviation and youth empowerment, I have since organized seminars, virtual and physical ICT training in my locality. Many youths have therefore been exposed to these earning opportunities, and I truly hope that many more will. I am currently serving under the Nigeria Youth Service Corps (NYSC), and seeing the current lapses in ICT literacy in this region; I would be replicating similar ICT training, donating computers to schools and carrying out a Career Development summit as my Community Development project in this Community. This will be targeted at marginalised youths with special preference given to the girl child since they have less opportunity for such training.
