Funding to support the volunteer run sports club be able to bring a valuable sporting presence back to the community as soon as responsibly/legally possible
We are aiming to raise money in order to fund the ongoing maintenance of the playing facility in order for us to be able to provide a valuable sporting resource to Clifton and the surrounding areas. In a period of no income, there are still costs associated with the upkeep of the playing square, outfield, associated machinery and the pavilion building. All works are carried out by unpaid volunteers.

To try and restore some normality in life after the Lockdown as been eased by providing a safe social / sporting space to enjoy. Not only to continue developing our young aspiring cricketers but helping to bring together the local community once more.

Providing support and funding to cricket clubs across the country as they return to cricket.
Firstly we would like to say a massive thank you to the ECB for their generous start to our Crowd Funding Campaign! In what is a difficult time for amateur clubs up and down the country that rely on annual income to help survive and in normal circumstances thrive, the emphasis is very much on the former at the moment! We are still working safely and tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure Clifton CC is fit for a swift return whenever that may be, but we need your support! If you can help us with a donation however small it all helps. Thank you

VolunteerClifton Cricket Club - A village, volunteer run sports club at the heart of the local community. We provide a facility for people of all ages, genders & backgrounds to enjoy & play the game of cricket at the beautiful Claybridge ground. We look to engage with the local community as much as possible and under normal circumstances we hold the village's biggest community event - The Annual Duck Race which sees several thousand local people come and enjoy the setting. Unofrtuantely this will be the first year in a long time that this will not be possible but wil lreturn as soon as we are responsibly able to as will the cricket itself!
We are running this campaign to ensure that the volunteer run, not for profit club can continue essential maintenance which will ensure the club will remain agile in responding to when the Lockdown has eased enough for us to be able to operate again.
Project Owner: Clifton Cricket Club The Project Owner takes legal responsibility for receiving and spending the funds raised and ensuring the project is delivered.
