Residents will work together to identify the priority areas and vote for the areas that deserve the most love and tender care. Volunteers will help with the voting process and once selected the volunteers will engage with their community members to get started on the estate improvements.
The volunteers will then work with residents and loca businesses and start to make improvements to the areas and also they will use impat tools to make sure that the improvements can be measured.
The volunteers will also get training and they will be able to access job opportunities with Genesis and also with other supply chains.
What we'll deliver:
- Provide job access information for volunteers
- Provide training for volunteers
- Remove grafitti.
- Clear up rubbish
- Plant trees and shrubs
Why it's a great idea:
Volunteers will help themselves and their communities. The estates will be cleaner and the volunteers will leqarn new skills and access jobs and training.
The Genesis volunteer programme continues to provide volunteer chances and jobs for its residents and this has meant that we have moved 100s of residents into work.
So its simple the more we create volunteering opportunities the more jobs we create and the more residents we move into employment and help them improve their lives and wellbeing.

We do awesome work and we feel this project would help us to stay awesome and keep helpng move residents into volunteering, jobs and training. This programme would help us increase improving the appearance and upkeep of our estates and provide volunteering, training and employment opportunities for residents.
