Our Unit at present is not to old to continue to house us, so we are looking for a new home. Sandford Mill , an old treatment works, will be brought alive again, and house our 65 Cadets. Chances for children to gain qualifications, in seamanship, navagation, sailing, camping with oour Royal marine cadet sqaud. they get to do courses away , visit HMS ships. Chelmsford Sea Cadets are here to assist young people to reach their full potential, through a wide range of land and waterborne activities. These activities are intended to be exciting and personally rewarding, and can lead to qualifications including RYA, BCU, DoE, and BTEC.Cadets can also take part in a wide range of District, Area, and National sporting events. Swimming , Athletics, Football. We offer a wide variety of leadership, land and waterborne training to young people from 10 to 18 years old, following the traditions of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines.

Because we are all volunteers and we see children come and join the unit, and when they leave they have the skills, teachings, and qualifications to achieve there dreams, wether be in the Royal Navy or Royal Marines or to further there education, and possibly become staff to help those next generation cadets.
Steps to get it done:
I have been at this unit for 7 years, and i have seen troubled children join the unit, and become amazing confident young people who have furthered themselves with the teachings they have gained from the unit. We are here for the future generations of Sea Cadets. They are our future,
