Set up a youth centre that young people can access to give them a place they can call their own while being themselves with no judgement which also provides a safe space to talk should they need to.

The aim of Charley's is to give young people a place to come and talk and give young people a place to come and relax being themselves with no judgement about who or what they feel. Let's face it no-one wants to speak to the social worker and some teachers have their hands tied and talking to them can seem to make things worse. I think every young person thinks their parents come from a different planet and would never have been through anything like what they go through. My proposal is to get a place up a running, almost like a youth club. It would be run by the charity so there would be no charge on the young people
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
This will give young people a safe secure place so hopefully they will not feel like Charley did and that suicide is their only way out of a situation. It will benefit the community as it will help young people from roaming the streets by giving them somewhere to go. By doing projects for and with the community it will help enable a sense of pride and belonging.
