The project will be about getting youth in the community to come and play football together, but as i mentioned the main aspect of it would be to produce a well written booklet on character building so they become better young adults and value everything in life and dont take life for granted. It is very unlikely to change someones character just through activities alone. Our youth in london are currently going through what i call an identity and character crisis. My job will be to educate them into understanding that you can improve your character and still be the person you are. We will deal with issues such as, confidence building, dealing with societal pressures, the value of perception, the value of good ethics, Self Respect, being part of a group with the need to be part of a gang ect:
This is a matter of transforming the youth from confused young boys to young men who are aware of who they are and how much value they contribute to society

This project is the best idea, because we will not just be giving the youth activities to do and hoping and wishing for change. I will be motivating, educating, encouraging the youth so they leave this project changed with a different mindset and outlook on life.
