After touring around the world in dance shows, featuring in music videos and starting in award winning films, I Lee Payne have built up an incredible contact list of artists and directors from all over the world that are all willing to help and show support in this wonderful concept. With a strong creative culture on the coast of so many talented individuals, I can guarantee that having a creative hub accessible to all will allow so many collaborations to take effect. I am aiming for effective meetings whilst working on ideas and putting them in motion . This will enable artists to achieve a high end product within the community to re-energise a creative spirit in all those involved.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Einstein, Newton, Shakespeare, Da Vinci and Hawkins, great minds from across the centuries, from different parts of the world that have discovered new things through working with others and using the creativity of their genius minds. 2020 and the U.K. is still searching for new creative ideas but reluctant to put the money into new undiscovered talent that have the new projects, that not only will allow them to put their work out there but will also benefit the community. This leaves us with shows that have been made over 30 years ago coming back to life as remakes and beautiful work not even getting a chance to be seen. How do we bring back the amazing creativity of the U.K. ......... well this is why I have developed The Workshop.
Steps to get it done:
I want to bring new opportunities to the younger performance students , different music dance and performance experience than what they are used to by introducing them to other artists from around the world. This will also allow me to bring some amazing talented people into the area to help boost the creative performance culture. Working closely with Mike Pailthorpe (Head of music at Northbrook College), Ben Stringer (Director of Sussex Academy of Music), I have met so many young musicians that wish to be part of this opportunity. Not just the music side but in all areas arts and media, "The Workshop" will help graduating, graduated, amateur and professional artists meet their forever expanding creative needs. This project will allow all of the above to happen, plus the chance to create and explore new directions for themselves. With Adam Barker (West Sussex Music) in complete support of this, I have no doubt we will be able to reach new levels.
