J'overt is an unknown part of Notting Hill Carnival where we meet, throw grunge, mud, chocolate, etc at each other while dancing on the strrets of Notting Hill to music and drumming.

We will have our own float of drummers, and provide safe grown up fun.
Only wear clothes that you won't mind getting soiled. You may "embellish" your costume if you wish, but avoid sharp and pointy objects.
Do not throw any paint/ mud on the Police.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Anything involving Notting Hill Carnival that brings more people in is a great idea.
We will have the drummers on a float so they can keep up with the lorries.
Steps to get it done:
This is more suitable for persons over 18yrs of age.
J'overt is the opening of traditional carnival in Trinidad and the version in Notting Hill is just as chaotic.
You are expected to mis-behave.
Provide contributors with a moving troup of drummers and some protective clothing. Refreshments are optional
