We aim to provide a social community venue for console gamer workshops, events, tournaments and parties and run a program of daily activities including tech training and game "walk-throughs”.

We provide a programme of activities centred around console gaming. We house: 32 consoles on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and Nintendo, 350 game titles, 1000 game disks and high tech game equipment infrastructure at our permanent location. Our Project covers three aspects: 1) Affordable Memberships: £30 per month 2) On-site activities: game-play, parties, social events, tournament preparation training for young people and adults who require work experience & CV references. 3) Bringing the community together in a comfy, tech-efficient space for people to experience the fun and challenges of console game event hosting and business.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Bring Your Game London is unique! - We are the only shop transforming the High Road combining high tech, internet access, fun console gaming experiences, great coffee, volunteer opportunities & work experience and child-friendly (we do not sell alcohol). We offer solutions to issues of isolation in our open shared and friendly space, encouraging social interaction and dealing with issues of addiction to playing games through regulated game-play time. Visitors can unwind, problem solve and develop skills, socially and intellectually. BYGL is a home-from-home where children have a 'safe haven' off the streets and can meet new friends. We host a programme of daily activities so our community's youth can get involved with event management, learn technical & business skills, prep for events and assist in running tournaments. BYGL aims to bring the community together so that everyone can be a part of its success and benefit from our services & future goal of running trips & excursions.
Steps to get it done:
Our website customer reviews demonstrate our dedication in making this a success and since launch in January 2018, we are becoming a focal point and want to remain a hub of entertainment that people of all ages in the community can access and enjoy. Young people need a place to go, that allows them to be creative and feel encouraged to develop positive social skills and interact with each other in a safe environment. Adults likewise enjoy our venue because they can unwind, de-stress, share quality time and engage with their children, compete against each other and 'have a game' before they hit the town! BYGL can transform a part of the high street that lacks any form of entertainment for young people. We need financial assistance in order to drive a marketing campaign to encourage local schools, colleges, youth centres, work places, etc. to see us, find us and use us. We are available for off-site hire for private events, functions, parties & presentations, e.g. TheMall-E17.
