We want to expand on our current food bank provision, bring in foreign food provisions for those cultures that struggle, get people into work, offer working wardrobe, supply clothes for interviews, to offer schemes for 16 to 18 year olds to prevent crime, upcycle and for them to sell their product, to engage with the vulnerable in our community, old and young alike, expand our women's support group to more areas, form an adhd homework club, to purchase laptops for people to jobsearch, cv writing etc, we have already given out over 145,000 meals for free over 3years and we want to do more, we currently offer free school uniform, free school shoes, community shop which we want to expand on, help people that feel abandoned, challenge food, clothing and shoe poverty, teach home skills, money management, home cooking, sewing, parenting, make a community what it should be, there for everyone

What we'll deliver:

  • Laptops for community use
  • Cooking equipment for community use
  • Update the kitchen
  • Interpreter training for different cultures
  • Confident people
  • Hands on training

Why it's a great idea:

We will and can feed, clothe, and train people, give them the confidence to believe in themselves, show them they are not on their own and that they have somewhere to turn, to establish a network of support groups for families throughout the northwest, encouraging people to stand alone once they have, a job, food in their cupboards, their children with suitable and enough clothing, give empowerment to those who otherwise would fall through the gaps, society and community is for everyone, not just a few

Steps to get it done:

  • To get people to engage,
  • Empower people to volunteer
  • Get the first 10 people into work
  • To prevent one family using our service by giving them courage, guidance and confidence

Over the last 3 years we have achieved many things Food bank, with no voucher Womens group Domestic violence support Fundraising for a sick child Community evenings Welfare support Sponsored events, body wax etc Organised community events Free pack lunches during school holidays And much much more. With support we know we can create more opportunities, more community involvement, we want people to believe in themselves and with what we offer currently and with more funding, what we can achieve, we hope people will thrive, everyone deserves a chance, young old, disabled, foreign, whoever needs help, we will support
