We need an access path along the side of the recreation park in Blandford that will allow wheelchair users and people pushing prams to access both the cricket club and the trailway behind the club.
Sorry this project was unsuccessful, we did not reach our fundraising goal.
To enable access for all to the cricket club, at the top of the recreation ground, we need an access path similar to the one leading to the football club. This would provide a non-slip path for wheelchair users, prams and older citizens to use the facilities at the cricket club. In winter it will also provide easy access (not wet grass) to both the clubhouse and the trailway behind the club. The recreation ground is at Park Road in Blandford Forum. The park is a well used public space. This project will enable access for all to the amenities.
