Eight of England's ten most deprived neighbourhoods are in Blackpool. We're crowdfunding to help us continue to feed vulnerable people in throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The Blackpool Food Partnership distributes to 70 organisations across Blackpool and surrounding areas. It has been providing a support service to many families and individuals, and is now seeing exponential rises in demand and costs in the face of the coronavirus emergency. Now, more than ever, we need support to source food for the community.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Blackpool Food Partnership works to reduce poverty by encouraging charities, churches and community groups to work together. In this crisis, it is more important than ever to work together to ensure that vital resources are not squandered, nor operational tasks duplicated. We have a solid and fully resourced volunteer team working tirelessly every day to bring hope to those in desperate need and this appeal will ensure that we can step up the efforts to reach everyone who needs reached at this very difficult time.
