The Arts Festival will take place over 3 days in June 2019, drawing on our experience of providing a variety of events over 3 previous years: poetry, music, talks on local history , craft and writing workshops and walks to show the literary, geological, botanical features of the area which have contributed to its current appearance, shape and exceptionally rich biodiversity.. In previous years we have attracted people who did not know Binsted and who have commented with surprise and pleasure on what they have learned about this tucked-away area,- next year we'll reach out further The Festival is a small scale undertaking, using mainly local speakers and event leaders, in no way competing with more prestigious events e.g Petworth Festival. But it cannot happen without your support-please pledge what you can, even £5 will help.We hope to recoup c.£1000 towards the overall costs from attendances at events . Our crowdfunding target, is £400 as a contribution to publicity costs.
