The Men’s Shed is a community wellbeing project to provide a place for people who might otherwise struggle with loneliness or boredom. We want to build a permanent Shed, where we can meet, make and restore things, or just sit and talk. Currently we are meeting in the local scout hut, so are unable to make a mess, set up machinery, or store materials.

Why it's a great idea:
An opportunity to help the mental well-being of the local men (and women) by providing a welcoming space to meet up and chat. Also, the option to join in with making and repairing things, some of which can be sold to raise cash for the on-going expenses of the Shed.
