SCHOOL OF CYCLING LEARNING STAGES In this project of Promotion of Cycling in school age. The school will be directed to children and young people of both gender, included in the following categories: • from 3 years. • children under 8 years. • 9 and 10 years. • 11 and 12 years old. • 13 and 14 years. Understanding by age that is fulfilled during the year. From here and until the age of 14, we will seek the development of the general technique of cycling, and then move on to take into account the specific technique of each cycle mode (route, mountain, etc ...). The planning will be divided into two stages: STAGES OF CYCLING SCHOOL CHILDREN 1º Stage up to 10 years. The objective sought in this stage is the development of the general technique, pursuing general objectives that allow us to adequately develop the individual in the whole. In this period the objective is not competitive, but formative. 2º stage until 14 years.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
It is the only cycling school in central London, we also want all the neighbors to be part of the club, they can take part as cyclists, runners or volunteers.
Steps to get it done:
OBJECTIVES OF THE CYCLING SCHOOL. A) Encourage the practice of cycling among schoolchildren and adults, in a playful and educational way. B) Create and enhance the different cycling modalities; Cycling club, mtb, cycling schools and cycling team. C) To promote cycling, not only in the social and cultural field, but also to support athletes who practice a certain modality at the competitive level. D) Encourage and reinforce THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA Cycling Club with support from the political arena and from the city council of sports THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA. OBJECTIVES 1. To promote sustainable mobility and the use of bicycles as an alternative means of transport. 2. Encourage healthy living habits using the bicycle as a way to perform physical activity. 3. Integrate, include and standardize the practice of cycling in people with disabilities. 4. Know the bikes and their use in a safe and responsible way. 5.......,6......,7........,8.....
