To enable the launching and sustaining our Club's Dynamos Cricket this Summer we are looking at having the best infrastructure in place for both our volunteers and the young players we want them to inspire. This involves recruiting and training a committed bank of coaches, assistants and Activators; getting our newest coach properly 1st Aid Trained and certified; organising a pre-season Social Event for all our Parents; Organising a "Taster Day" or a "Come and Try Out Cricket Day"; Organising a number of Reward and Recognition Events for later in the season - for our Activators, coaches and assistants and also our army of off-field volunteers, team managers, social event organisers, sponsorship partners and procurers, and fund-raisers.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
The Club will increase its number of coaches, assistants and Activators by up to 5 - thus providing our young players a much improved delivery of the cricketing experience that we offer - with better coach/player ratios plus in a safer and more welcoming environment. The Club will increase the number of children 9-11 signed up to Dynamos by organising a Taster Day in early May before the launch of the Dynamos 10 week programme. The Club will increase its number of volunteers through a much improved level of parental engagement - and be in a position to recognise and reward those volunteers also. We want our parents to feel they are a vital and integral part of what is, in effect, their Club - on both a sporting and a social level.
