This project will be used to raise funds to keep Avebury Cricket club afloat and settle the monthly fixed costs associated with running the club during this hiatus. As a result cricket will be available to our existing and potential members at the first available opportunity. Avebury cricket club has seen significant improvements over the last few seasons including the building of a brand new pavilion, All stars, under age group festivals and promotion of both of our adult cricket teams. We wish to continue our good work in the local community as whole as well as well our cricket club in order advance the progress already made. We appreciate and are grateful for any contributions made at a time where many may not be working.

What we'll deliver:

• A cricket club ready to play.
• All stars and Dynamo cricket at the junior level.
• Recreational cricket for adults

Why it's a great idea:

Through this relief fund we would be able to continue to provide cricket as a recreational option for those in the local community at our existing adult and junior levels. Given the current restrictions on exercise and social activity, Avebury CC would provide an outlet that meets these needs. All stars has been a huge success at the club over the past two seasons, and with the addition of Dynamos cricket more young children will have access to this fantastic game. This is an ever forward thinking/moving club and your generous donations will provide a boost towards our aspirations of the being the best club we can be.

Steps to get it done:

• Fund the overheads of the club for the duration of the season hiatus.
