There is an alleyway connecting Longcroft Grove and Kershaw Lane together which is used regularly by residents. Over the years it has become a little shabby looking, untidy and unloved. We'd like to jet wash clean the tarmac and fencing, repaint all fence panels and build and plant out wooden flowerbeds out of scaffold boards. Some sort of fix energy efficient solar light could be installed to make it feel safer and better lit at night time. We would also like to install a bench.

Why it's a great idea:

The area is much loved and this alleyway has been un-cared for and untended for so long. Lighting and planting will really improve safety and the aesthetics of the street scene.
