We have over 42 volunteers who are always on hand to help those most in need and also be a listerning ear when needed Vinnie's Drop in cafe just wouldnt be able to support so many people without the amazing help and support from our Volunteers. The Drop in cafe runs 4 days per week and all the meals that are cooked and served all come from doanted food products we work with local supermarkets to and collect there food waste at the end of the day which is still fresh for us to use. We also get regular food donation to our food bank where we can supply an emergency food parcel to those who are most in need.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Vinnie's drop in café is here to not just offer free meals but to offer a warm and welcoming place to those who are in need. Vinnie's drop in café is also a great place to volunteer and learn skills to those who maybe looking to gain them.
Steps to get it done:
We are also working closely with local Asylum seekers and refugees to make Vinnie's café a place where they can come to gain skills while volunteering.
