Providing support and funding to cricket clubs across the country as they return to cricket.
When All Stars and Dynamos Cricket come to an end this summer we want to celebrate and create some lasting family memories. We are raising money to help with the costs of hosting a brilliant family day. Local clubs who will be invited to enter their All Stars into our ‘Diamond Cricket World Cup’ and their Dynamos into the ‘Countdown Cricket World Cup’. These will both include chances for parents to get involved and compete alongside their little cricketers. We even plan to host a Women’s Soft Ball Cricket Festival the same day!
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Family Cricket Day will help children build confidence, playing their game in a different environment with a friendly and supportive, competitive environment. Children will start to see their fellow All Stars and Dynamos as teammates, something we hope will encourage them to continue playing cricket together. We know kids love it when their families get involved. Adults will be encouraged to participate with their children and learn new ideas for ‘back garden games’. Our Women’s Soft Ball Festival is a great chance for Mums, Grandmas, older sisters and any other women to give the game a go, laugh and get active.
