The project is a puppet play for families on the beach involving Albert and his adventures with witches, sharks and pirates.
Sorry this project was unsuccessful, we did not reach our fundraising goal.
We are using an original script written by members of That Creative Thingy Wotsit, who are based in Weston-super-Mare, that involves puppets as well as live actors and a poetry slam.
We have support from the SeaQuarium and the Town Hall, who are providing a shark costume and deck chairs respectively and we hope to show it to as many people as possible.
We are planning to perform it at the end of August 29th- 30th.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Because it's community theatre that's free to watch and free to participate. We get enormous enjoyment out of making the shows and we believe that other people get enormous enjoyment from watching it.
It is a creative opportunity that is needed to help people become more imaginative and more creative. Access to these things is very important for the welfare of a community, for it's health and vitality.
This is also the beginning of a number of theatrical projects we hope to carry out so the more of a stronger start we get the better it will be for what will come next.
