A vastly experienced high street accountant who has looked after the very small business of one-man self-employed type of persons, and kept abreast of the vicissitudes of tax. In 1980 he rolled up his leeves, and designed the ABC Accounts Book. Clients are given one free at the start of their financial year, thus avoiding a potential £3,000 penalty for "not keepiong proper records". A smaller edition (the Mini Accounts Book), followed. Currently an enthusiastic programmer is required to move the paper book into the Digital Age.
