Ike Media aims to create opportunities for those who want to break into the film/media industry. We plan to do this by offering acting workshops, rehearsals and creating high quality showreels, but we will not stop there as we'll also take on interns and become home to aspiring scriptwriters, directors, producers, editors and videographers. We want to bring young people together across Southwark. However, we do need a space where we can regularly rehearse, hold meetings and share ideas for upcoming projects. Plus, it will give us credibility to have a location as a small organisation because people will feel much more comfortable joining Ike Media or working with us.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
What is truly amazing about this project is how it will bring many people from urban areas together to better the community and hopefully deter those who may be heading down the wrong path to get their life back on track by focussing on opportunities within media. We will allow people to use their talents to kickstart their own careers, whether people want to be scriptwriters, costume designers, makeup artists or even manage set design we strive to help deliver important messages to a wider audience and support and uplift the youth of today.
