We are looking for funding to help us to continue our core work listed in our biography over a 12 month period while we simultaneously incorporate planning for much larger projects to come over the next 3 years. Current projects Youth Work - Including twice weekly youth club and various educational sessions’ e.g. Cultural workshops The Arts - Drama, Film & Media Sessions, Theatre and Radio including script development and directing Health - Allotment, food safety and over 55's fitness. Social Welfare - Providing a safe environment and consultation for all to interact and work on personal welfare and development, this can come in the form of sociable activities, education or employability etc. Future projects include 5 new film projects, projects relating to mental health, childhood obesity and exploration into new educational techniques as well as courses to drive employability.

What we'll deliver:

  • A support member of staff for 12 months
  • Funding a project Leader to deliver all projects over a 12 month period as well as planning for future projects
  • Room hire and premises for 12 months.

Why it's a great idea:

This is a great idea because it allows our group to become organised for the coming years in a period of intense regeneration of an extremely deprived area of the UK. All funds provided for this project will not only help to deliver the projects we state as our core work for the coming 12 month period, it will help us have the breathing space to provide the longevity that the group needs to help provide much improved services over the next 3-5 years.

Steps to get it done:

  • To provide the group with 12 months uninterrupted funding which will help towards focussing on the long term target.
